Nasscom Joins Google For Digivaani Call Center
Highlights:
- Google and Nasscom Foundation has announced setting up a call center in collaboration with a not-for-profit body Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP), helping women farmers scale up their business.
- The "DigiVaani Call Center" project is run on a pilot basis.
- Initially, around 20,000 rural women entrepreneurs will be covered across 6 states, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, and Rajasthan.
- DigiVaani will be a place where rural women entrepreneurs can call and get information about different schemes available for them, which could help them scale up their business, be it government schemes or any other details that can help them.
